Important Information
What is a custom ornament?
A custom ornament is a completely original design created from scratch using photos, logos, artwork, or other reference images that you provide. (You must own the rights to use any logos or graphics that you provide)
If you're simply looking to add a name, date, or short message to an existing Cedar + Pearl ornament, that's considered a personalization and can be ordered directly through our website without this form.
Minimum Order Requirement
Custom ornament projects require a minimum order of 24 ornaments.
Design Source Material
All custom ornaments are created from images supplied by the customer. The quality and accuracy of the images you provide directly impact the design process. Please ensure that any logos, photos, or artwork reflect the most current version of the design you'd like represented and that you have authorization to use those images (copyrighted or trademarked logos or images cannot be used without written owner's consent)
Pricing
Custom ornament pricing varies based on the complexity of the design and the production requirements of the finished ornament.
Discounts
A 25% discount from the suggested retail price is available for qualified nonprofit organizations and select bulk orders.
Approved wholesale customers receive keystone wholesale pricing based on the ornament's suggested retail price.
How the Custom Design Process Works
Step 1: Submit Your Inquiry
Complete this form in its entirety and upload any photos, logos, or reference materials that will help us understand your vision. The more information you provide, the more accurate your quote will be.
Step 2: Design Review
Once your inquiry is received, we'll review the information and contact you by email if additional details or clarification are needed.
Step 3: Quote & Prototype Approval
After reviewing your project, we'll send you a quote for your approval. Once approved, we'll begin creating a prototype of your ornament.
The prototype process typically takes 2–3 weeks, depending on design complexity and our production schedule. When the prototype is complete, a photo will be emailed to you for review.
Step 4: Revisions
Our goal is to get your design right the first time. One round of prototype revisions is included if adjustments are needed.
Additional revisions beyond the first revision will be billed at $50 per revision.
Step 5: Production
Once the prototype has been approved, a 50% deposit is required before production begins.
The remaining balance will be due when your order is complete and ready to ship.
Step 6: Reorders
Once your custom ornament has been designed and produced, reordering is simple. Your custom design will remain on file, allowing us to produce additional batches as needed without repeating the design and prototype process.
A minimum order of 24 ornaments is required for all reorder requests. Production timelines for reorders vary based on our current production schedule and seasonal demand. If you have a specific event or deadline in mind, we recommend placing your reorder request as early as possible.
